Science at Cransley School is taught as three separate subjects: Biology, Chemistry and Physics by specialist teachers. We have two well-equipped laboratories with internet access and data projection in each. The scheme of work covered in Senior 1-3 follows the guidelines laid down by the National Curriculum. In Senior 4 and 5 students continue to study Biology, Chemistry and Physics to GCSE standard, either in the form of Science and Additional Science or, for the more able students, as separate Biology, Chemistry and Physics GCSEs. Throughout the Senior Department, educational visits to Science Museums, the Zoo as well as lectures and science fairs are included to enrich the Science experience.
