The Senior Department builds upon the firm foundations which have been laid further down the school. Most pupils will eventually take 9 or 10 GCSEs. Excellent results over recent years reflect the hard work and commitment of students and staff alike. Class sizes are small.
A wide programme of extra curricular activities is available. Cransley has a thriving orchestra and choir; there are regular school productions; many different clubs meet after school and during the lunch break.
Many of the girls are members of school sports teams. Matches are played regularly against local and independent school teams. Every year a number of pupils are selected to represent the region in various sports.
A well structured careers programme is offered. All pupils take aptitude tests organized by the Independent Schools Careers Organization (ISCO). These are supported by interviews with ISCO and the Cheshire Careers Guidance Partnership.
Here at Cransley, we offer encouragement and support to enable every pupil to achieve their potential. We prepare our students for life in the modern world.
